Thomas Luke Jarocki
Managing Director of eMergence One Consulting has nearly 18 years
of consulting experience having worked with
many Fortune 100 companies throughout the United
States, Latin America, and Europe.
Originally from the East Coast, but based in Silicon Valley for the past
several years, Mr.
Jarocki helps individuals and groups across all organizational functions
and levels to identify, address, and implement real world solutions for a
variety of business challenges. His focus is primarily upon improving the
probability of successful implementations (such as the introduction of new
technology and other types of organizational and IT initiatives), as well
as the alignment of HR strategies with business and IT processes. He has
worked with many top name companies including Cisco Systems,
Kellogg’s, Motorola, McDonalds, Apple Computers, Pepsi,
Canon, and Microsoft in the areas of: project management,
organizational development and assessment, strategy, change leadership; ERP systems integration; team building, training, and corporate
communications.
Prior to eMergence One,
Thomas was a Managing Principal at Oracle’s Organizational Change
Management Consulting practice, and was also a key West Coast manager for
the High Tech Division of a Big 5 Consulting firm. He holds an advanced
degree from Columbia University in Industrial/Organizational Behavior,
has extensive training in internet and IT solutions, and was formerly on
the Social Science faculty at the University of Maryland European
Division.

Ted Hayek
Practice Director for eMergence One has worked for 25 years as a
management consultant and senior HR executive; implementing human capital
programs, technology initiatives, and shared service organizations in
global, Fortune 100 settings. His experience covers all aspects of Human
Capital and Organization Change including: pay and performance systems,
training strategy and tools, leadership alignment, staff development,
organization design, strategic staffing, change communications, designing
HR, supply chain and customer care shared services, and managing the
people aspects of complex mergers, acquisitions, and business start-ups.
Ted has managed people challenges for over a dozen ERP programs, guiding
many clients through a successful transition to their new technology. He
is experienced in all aspects the people effort needed to deploy complex
IT solutions and large implementations. Ted has also directed change
efforts for clients reengineering global supply chain, customer care and
HR shared service processes and organization.
Ted has provided solutions in Consumer Products, Food Services,
Restaurants, Retail, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Oil &
Gas, High Tech, Non Profits and the Public Sector. His past clients
include: Ford Motor Company, Citibank, Estee Lauder, Sears, McDonalds,
Lowes, Panasonic, Cisco, Motorola, AT&T, Sony, Boeing, American Express,
WAMU Bank, Chase, Allstate, Dreyfus, Chevron, International Paper,

Ted completed two graduate degrees with the New School University in New
York City (Human Resource Management and Applied Psychology), and has

Ellen Raboin
Practice Manager for eMergence One has 20 years of experience with
technology and process work in organization development, customer service,
supply chain, engineering, training, engagement management and sales. Her
unique background in technology and business brings a well-rounded
perspective across functional areas. She has conducted training,
organization assessments, channel analysis, and mapped business process
solutions for clients in telecommunications, utilities, healthcare, and
banking. She has worked with organizations such as Dupont, PG&E,
SBC/Pacific Bell, MCI, ProBusiness, Charles Schwab, VISA, Wells Fargo,
Northrop, Mitsibushi, and The Methodist Hospital.
Prior to emergence One Ellen held key positions in a healthcare consulting
group, an Organizational Development Consulting Firm, software application
companies, and a process control organization. She created business
relationships that enhanced organization effectiveness and capabilities.
Born in the Southeast, migrating through the Northeast, Ellen has called
San Francisco Bay Area home for 14 years. She is a graduate of Pepperdine
University’s Masters Program in Organizational Development and also holds
an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from California State University.

Matt Baumel
Practice Manager for eMergence One has been involved in the
business and technology fields for nearly ten years, often on an
international level.
Matt has extensive experience building partnerships and solving business
and technology related issues for numerous clients. Prior to eMergence
One, Matt was a Regional Manager at CNET Networks. While at CNET, he
worked with numerous national clients in retail, manufacturing, consumer
products and other industries. Previous to that, he spent several years at
Corporate Express developing partnerships and marketing programs with many
other service and product companies while managing major accounts for the
Promotional Marketing group.
Matt has worked with a diverse set of clients including REI, Palm,
Microsoft, Siemens, Samsung, Sears, Tower Records, Eddie Bauer, Universal
Studios and Amazon.com.
Since 1998, Matt has consulted for and currently resides on the Board of
Directors for Internal Drive, a technology training company that runs
summer programs for children and teachers on 33 university campuses
including Stanford, MIT, UCLA and others. A native of the Bay Area, Matt
has also has international experience having lived in Spain, Chile,
Argentina and Ireland. He is fluent in Spanish and holds a BA in Business
from the University of Washington and an MBA from the University of Notre
Dame.
